HRH the Duchess of Rothesay gifted Charlie Dog lapel pin

Our friends at Charlie House, Tracey Johnstone and Susan Crighton received a special invitation to meet HRH Camilla the Duchess of Rothesay during her recent visit to Scotland. The Duchess, who supports several children's hospice organisations throughout the UK, expressed a keen interest in the charity. Tracey and Susan took the opportunity to gift Her Royal Highness a lapel pin from their new jewellery range which was presented to her by children from Culter School.

Charlie House has recently launched a Big Build Appeal in the hope of reaching fundraising targets for a new specialist support centre in Aberdeen. The charitable organisation was set up with the view of creating a better life for children and young people who have life-threatening or life limiting conditions and to support their families. Ortak was approached by Ian Sinclair from Sinclair's of Inverurie who informed us of the charity's objective, we felt compelled to do something to help. In May 2019 Charlie House launched their exclusive bespoke range of jewellery designed and handcrafted by Ortak. Michael Garden's our managing director said "when designing the pieces we were mindful that it is a children's charity and that we wanted to create some beautiful keepsakes."
