Ortak on location

What better way to celebrate a new collection than to take it on location to one of our wonderful Orkney heritage sites, the Broch of Gurness.

We were delighted to have talented local photographer Colin Keldie on board to help us capture the essence of Ortak. We love to work collaboratively with local makers and designers and our models were so pleased to be dressed in clothing from Orkney designers and retailers. Knitwear from Hume Sweet Hume, amazing print pieces from Kirsteen Stewart and stylish essentials from Kirkwall retailer Third Sister completed our looks and complimented our jewellery perfectly.

Recent Maeshowe collection was the feature of our shoot. Worn by models Lynsey and Vaila and featured in both striking enamel and oxidised sterling silver options, the neolithic inspired range made a real impact.

Ortak are proud to be official licensee of Historic Environment Scotland. This means that every time you treat yourself to one of our Historic Environment Scotland pieces you are supporting the protection of Scotland's natural assets. Look out for more Historic Environment Scotland Ortak collections coming soon.
